* TRULOCK BROS. 12-BORE TOPLEVER HAMMERGUN, serial no. 970, circa 1896, 30in. nitro reproved barrels (in 1985), the rib engraved 'TRULOCK BROS. 13 PARLIAMENT STREET. DUBLIN.', and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech-end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke, rebounding bar-action sidelocks, border and partial acanthus scroll engraving, retaining some colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. figured stock including buttplate, Hackett-type snap-on fore-end with horn finial, weight 6lb. 7oz.
