circa 1910, 29 1/2in. nitro barrels (pitted), the rib engraved 'FABRIQUES D'ARMS UNIES DE LIEGE', the tubes engraved 'ACIER COCKERILL', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and full choke, carved percussion fences, treble-grip action, bar-action locks with rebounding hammers, border engraving with vignettes of hound and flushed rabbit, 14 1/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels, including buttplate;
ANC. ETABL. PIEPER - HERSTAL 12-BORE TOPLEVER HAMMERGUN, serial no. 50515,
for 1924, 29 3/4in. nitro barrels (some pits), file-cut rib engraved 'TESTED FOR SMOKELESS POWDER' and 'ANC. ETABL. PIEPER. HERSTAL. BELGIUM.', the tubes engraved with the Bayard trademark and 'DEMI-BLOC' at the breech-ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action, border and partial acanthus scroll engraving with naive game-scenes, retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 13 1/2in. semi-pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels, including buttplate (2)
