A RARE GERMAN OPTICAL SIGHT WITH CASE FOR THE MG34,
circa 1936, with manufacturers plate marked 'HILDEBRAND- / WICHMANN-WERKE / FREIBURG-SA' and numbered '152452', painted green, rubber telescopic eye-cup, fully working with graticule, together with its green-painted steel transportation case with a stencilled yellow '3' and numbered 'MG 3031, some surface rust to the exposed steel of the sight and surface rust and wear to the case with torn strapping and some denting, known as the Zielfernrohr 34, these sights could be used for both direct and indirect fire
