A .577-450 (M/H) MARTINI-HENRY MKIV 'LONG-LEVER' SERVICE-RIFLE SIGNED ENFIELD, serial no. 765, dated for 1887, with 33 1/4in. blued barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, slab-side receiver marked on the right with a 'V.R.' crown device over 'ENFIELD 1887' over a crown arrow and 'IV', blued feed, tear-drop cocking indicator, walnut butt-stock stamped with a large '760 to left side at heel, long finger-lever with patched hole for short, full-length fore-end, bayonet bar, correct clearing rod and swivels, finish thinned and bruised, fitted with a later black leather sling
