A RARE TURKISH OTTOMAN EMPIRE WORLD WAR I MODEL 1909 CAVALRY SABRE,
with 33in. pipe-backed, slightly curved blade with quill point, forte with state armoury markings, crescent moon and 'T' markings to edges, guard pierced with Islamic crescent moon and star, chequered wooden grips, together with its nickelled steel scabbard with two suspension loops, blade with a few patches of staining, some surface rust to the guard and wear to the grips, scabbard dent-free with some staining, a little rusting and wear to the nickelling, 41 in. overall
