AN UNIDENTIFIED EARLY 19th CENTURY HANGER, circa 1800. with 25 in. plain single-edged steel blade, double-edged for the lower 5 in. spine marked 'JOSh. H. REDDELL', brass hilt and guard with langets, leather grip, worn, blade heavily cleaned, cross-guard dented, quillion broken and absent, grip loose in hilt with wire binding absent, no scabbard, possibly a hilt and blade marriage, 30 in. overall
