A SCARCE 12-BORE 1871 PATENT PUSH-FORWARD UNDERLEVER HAMMER GUN, serial no. 14087,
circa 1879, 30in. nitro reproved replacement barrels (in 2024, some pits), the rib engraved 'TRULOCK & HARRIS. 9 DAWSON STREET. DUBLIN.', the breech end with acanthus scroll detailing, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke, large action with carved percussion fences, rebounding sidelocks with large flat-side dolphin hammers, Rigby patent sprung 'hold-open' push-forward underlever, patent no. 1098 of 26th April 1871, use no. 474, fine acanthus scroll engraving, brushed bright and blued finish, 14 1/4in. figured stock including steel buttplate, fore-end with grip-catch release lever, weight 7lb. 1oz.
