for 1899, with blued 5 1/2in. tapering barrel (bore lightly worn and frosted), blued receiver, brushed bright bolt with long blued extractor, elevating rear-sight marked '1' to '10', large ring hammer and old style safe, blued slab-sided frame with integral 10-shot magazine, 22 groove bag-shaped walnut grips with lanyard ring at heel, retaining the majority of its original blued finish and polish and complete with its walnut holster stock with matching number, (one well repaired crack on the opening button side and four filled holes), together with a period leather bucket-frog
