circa 1862, with round 4 3/4in. barrel, octagonal barrel throat, triangular style fore-sight with bead tip, the top of barrel signed 'S. EBRALL, HEREFORD' (refreshed), open borderline and foliate engraved iron frame, blued six-shot cylinder with en-suite engraving, guarded trigger and spurred hammer (trigger return spring at fault), chequered walnut bag-shaped grips and lanyard ring at heel, Liege proofs, in an English market mahogany case partially relined in blue baize, an original Ebrall parchment trade-label inside lid (probably added) and together with a wire cleaning rod and vintage turn-screw
