for 1929, 28in. nitro barrels (No.1 reproved in 1962 and 1991), the ribs engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS. 23 CONDUIT ST. LONDON. GUN MAKERS BY APPOINTMENT TO H.M. THE KING' (No.1 refreshed) and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke, treble-grip actions with hidden third bites, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, L.B. Taylor modified 'two pull' single triggers, patent no. 26659 of November 17th 1909, use numbers 1021 and 1022, triggerplate-mounted selector switches with gold-inlaid 'L' and 'R' details, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining much colour-hardening (likely renewed No.1 and original No.2), 14 1/4in. replacement stock including horn buttplate No.1, 14 1/8in. stock including horn buttplate No.2, weight 6lb. 3oz., in an unusual brass-cornered two-tiered motor case with lift-out oak-lined barrel tray and William P. Jones trade label, together with a pair of canvas and leather slips
