Belgian circa 1868, with 5 3/4in. semi-octagonal barrel, the left side of throat marked 'J. WARNANT BREVETE', applied crescent fore-sight, break-open frame with single spring-bar lock to the left side, fluted five-shot cylinder with full-ring ejector-plate, exposed hammer, guarded trigger, chequered walnut semi saw-handled grip with lanyard ring to the heel-plate, minimal traces of finish with some light shallow pitting
