circa 1885, with octagonal 18in. barrel, tunnel fore-sight, folding peep-sight to rear of barrel, open nickel-plated frame (traces only remaining) with frame mounted striker, exposed hammer, push-button barrel release, spur-trigger, smooth walnut grips, the frame dove-tailed at heel and drilled and threaded on the back-strap for a detachable skeleton wire stock (included), no provision for fore-end
