for 1890, 28in. sleeved nitro barrels, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. in both, treble-grip action, patent gas checks, dipped-edge lockplates, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border and partial scroll engraving (some wear), brushed finish, 15in. figured stock including 7/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 6lb. 11oz., in its brass-cornered leather case
