circa 1860, with grey-painted 102in. tapering barrel, reinforced at the breech, double trunnions, central fire screw breech and an additional breech without a lock mechanism, the ancillaries contained in a pine box, the whole designed for a double punt
Provenance: This punt-gun was built in its original form as a muzzle-loader (original breech extant) and was converted at a later date to breech-firing.
