28in. nitro reproved barrels (in 2014), rib engraved 'HENRY MORRIS. ST. MARY'S ROW. BIRMINGHAM. 4.', 2 3/4in. chambers, imp. cyl. and 1/4 fixed Teague chokes, scroll-back action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, acanthus scroll and floral bouquet engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. figured stock (butt previously shortened and then restored to back original length), weight 6lb. 2oz.
Other Notes: Born in Birmingham in 1882, Henry 'Harry' Morris was a master engraver to the trade and would on occasion finish guns and retail them under his own name.
