30in. nitro barrels, rib engraved 'J. ROBERTSON. 1 & 2 HAM YARD. GREAT WINDMILL ST. LONDON', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, Robertson and Adams (Boss) 1897 patent ejectors, patent no. 2988 of 4th February 1897, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, Robertson (Boss) 1894 patent single trigger, patent no. 22894 of 21st March 1894, rolled-edge triggerguard, best fine acanthus scroll and floral scroll engraving, triggerplate engraved with single trigger patent details, retaining traces of original colour-hardening, 14 1/8in. figured stock, weight 6lb. 11oz., in a canvas case

Other Notes: The 1 & 2 Ham Yard address is where the Boss factory moved to in 1899 when the Dansey Yard premises was no longer viable. It remained here until just before the first war.
