22 3/8in. octagonal nitro barrel, sight rib exquisitely engraved with fine floral and acanthus scrollwork, engraved open sights with gold-inlaid triangular sighting highlight, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, wave cut rib with a cartouche engraved in script 'Herbert Streitmeier - St. Paul', the breech end mounted with a Swarovski Z6i 1,7 - 10x42 telescopic sight in engraved quickly-detachable mounts, treble-grip rounded bar action with ornately carved fence and flowing side bolsters, rebounding right hand back action lock with diminutive high spurred hammer, decorative matching sideplate to the left, set triggers, the action lock and sideplates and furniture exquisitely engraved with fine floral and acanthus scroll motifs, the triggerplate signed 'J. Deflorian', bright finish overall, 14 7/8in. exhibition grade burr walnut pistolgrip stock with sculpted cheekpiece, bolstered pistolgrip, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels and including 5/8in. rubber recoil pad, the fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch, schnabel horn finial, the interior of the fore-end iron engraved en suite to the exterior, weight 7lb. 13oz.

Provenance: The vendor kindly informs us that the rifle was originally intended to be kept by the maker for his own use, and only the vendors persistence finally convinced the maker to sell it to him.
The rifle took three years to complete, as bar the engraving, every part of the rifle was made 'in house' by Herbert Streitmeier himself.
