30in. nitro reproved bold damascus barrels, rib engraved 'TIPPING & LAWDEN. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, Thomas patent snap-action, patent no. 3091 of 15th November 1871, carved percussion fences, offset toplever engraved 'WEDGE BOLT 3091' in an oval and action flats with patent details, rebounding sidelocks, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining traces of renewed colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. stock with steel heel and toe-plates, fore-end with patent lever release, weight 7lb. 3oz.
