28in. nitro replacement barrels (in 1974), rib gold-inlaid '1', tubes engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO. ENGLAND', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke;
extra unsigned 28in. 12-bore barrels (in 1962), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke;
scroll-back treble-grip action incorporating J. Deeley and L.B. Taylor patent hand-detachable locks with engine turned finish, patent no. 17731 of 28th July 1897, use number 789, detachable floorplate, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, Westley Richards patent toplever engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS PATENT ONE TRIGGER', and gold-inlaid '1', A. E. Lard patent single-trigger, patent no. 3952 of 22nd February 1899, use number 475, triggerplate mounted selector switch with 'L' and 'R' details, bold acanthus scroll engraving, the triggerguard with fowl (replacement screws), brushed finish overall, 13 7/8in. figured semi-pistolgrip stock (pinned at head) including 1/2in. wooden buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch and horn finial, light damage to wood edges, weight 6lb. 10oz., in a leather bound case with provision for both sets of barrels
