LONDON.', the rib engraved with the calibre designation, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, rounded bar and back-action lockplates, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the action bar with elaborate cartouches gold-inlaid 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND', the triggerguard gold-inlaid with the serial number, retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 14 7/8in. well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, engraved and colour-hardened steel pistolgrip-cap, sling eyes, including 5/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 11lb. 2oz., in its Holland & Holland universal case
