A 54-BORE (.442) PERCUSSION REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY'S DUAL IGNITION', serial no. 36,
manufactured 1855-56 and originally supplied with additional .442 C.F. cylinder (now absent), with octagonal 5 1/2in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, the left hand side of barrel mounted with an articulated rammer, the right with a sliding ejector, solid frame, the top-strap with sighting groove and signed 'ALEX'R HENRY, EDINBURGH', the sides of barrel throat marked with the Webley 'winged bullet' trade-mark and 'WEBLEY'S PATENT' respectively, (the latter heavily overstamped '36'), plain cylinder also stamped '36', missing side loading gate, double action mechanism, chequered semi saw-handled walnut grip and guarded trigger, finish worn and bruised
