serial number on barrel only, 28in. sleeved nitro barrels, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action, automatic safety, dipped-edge lockplates, cocking-indicators, incorporating J. Dallaway and J. Cox patent manual ejecting mechanism, patent no. 13857 of September 26th 1888, the fore-end with hand operated pushers marked 'PRESS' to release ejector sears, fine acanthus scroll engraving with game scene vignettes of hound and fowl, brushed bright and blued finish overall, minor repair to triggerguard tang, 14 5/8in. figured stock including horn buttplate, weight 6lb. 9oz.
