USA' PATENTED AUGUST 21 1894', dove-tailed beaded blade fore-sight, buckhorn rear-sight with double stepped slider, slab-sided blued receiver (no finish remaining), radiused top to the bolt, external hammer, the top-tang with make and model details, walnut butt-stock with crescent heel-plate, colour hardened finger-lever (traces of finish), walnut fore-end and full-length magazine with take-down lever at tip
