19 1/4ins. Birmingham proofed barrel with bock and blade front-sight, small carbine pattern ladder rearsight, the lock stamped with a crown on the tail and signed "V & R BLAKEMORE / LONDON" to the centre, walnut half-stocked and fitted with regulation brass mounts including trigger-guard and butt-plate with trap for cleaning rods, one barrel band of streamlined Baddeley pattern, for the convenience of the trooper a side rib and ring is fitted to the counter lock side, the forend with two screws for securing a sight cover.
