dated 1907, 25 1/4in. nitro reproved barrel, blade fore-sight with inward curving protectors, elevating rear-sight graduated to 2000 yards, and with micrometer windage adjustment, chequered tops to the side protectors, blued receiver, magazine cut-off, bolt with sliding charger guide, oval cocking-piece, side safety, walnut butt-stock of usual form with blank brass identity disc, the right side marked 'B.S.A. CO. BIRMINGHAM. I*', brass buttplate with central trapdoor completer, with pull-through and brass oil bottle, walnut full-length fore-end with top-cover and fitted with dial volley sights, three sets of sling swivels, canvas sling, weight 8lb. 15oz.
