circa 1890, with blued octagonal 5 1/2in. barrel (small surface rust patches to bore), raised sighting rib, nickel crescent fore-sight, blued break-open frame with twin Pryse-action bars (loose on hinge), fluted cylinder, double action trigger mechanism and chequered one-piece walnut grip with domed iron butt-cap and central lanyard ring, strong amount of original blued finish remaining below speckled surface corrosion
