A .577 PERCUSSION SPORTING GUN / SADDLE CARBINE UNSIGNED serial no 844, with 25" rebrowned twist barrel with top flat, dovetailed bead front-sight, the breech stamped "JPR / EXRI / 1770" on the left and on the top a mark in Hindi, and on the right "844", the lock of English sporting type is plain and unmarked, iron mounted wooden half-stock, with chequered wrist, stamped on the left with Hindi lettering and on the right "S.K.J", the mounts include a patchbox, and a side-rib and ring, complete with rod.
