LONDON.', and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, No.1 right wall thickness well below recommended minimum, treble-grip actions with removable striker discs, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets and ornate bordering, retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening, 14 3/4in. figured stocks including 1/2in. wooden extensions, No.1 likely replacement and with small crack to left underhorn, weight 6lb. 10oz., in a brass-cornered leather case
