A .75 EAST INDIA COMPANY TYPE FLINTLOCK MUSKET, CIRCA 1810, no visible serial number, with 39 in London proofed barrel having a baluster turned breech, E.I.C. Brown Bess pattern 1810 type lock with ring-neck cock, the markings very very faint but would have been dated on the tail and the rampant lion to the centre, top jaw and screw missing, regulation brass mounted full stock, top 12 in. of forend replaced, the musket was probably made up out of East India Company musket parts at the Jaipur armoury for issue to the Maharaja of Jaipurs private army.
