WESTLEY RICHARDS 12-BORE BOXLOCK EJECTOR, serial no. D1139, circa 1930, 28in. nitro reproved barrels (in 1994, slightly loose), the rib engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO. LONDON.', and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech-end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, left wall at 19, treble grip action, toplever engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS EJECTOR.', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border engraving, brushed bright and reblued finish, 14 1/2in. figured stock, fore-end with Deeley & Edge release catch and horn finial, weight 6lb. 9oz.
