German, probably by Roland or Langenhan, with two-stage 17 3/4in. blued barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, elevating tangent rear-sight, plain nickel-plated air-chamber with flaring trigger unit, finely chequered full pistol-grip walnut butt-stock with plain nickel-plated heel-plate, no provision for fore-end, a locking lever for the breech protruding through the cocking link, much original finish throughout
