circa 1810, with 38 3/4in. iron barrel (some external pitting), block fore-sight, Tower proofs and moulded band at breech, solid top-tang, borderline engraved lock with radiused and pointed tail signed 'TOWER' and with 'G.R.' crown device below pan, swan-necked cock, walnut full-stock with hand-rail wrist and carved apron around the top-tang, brass furniture, the heel-plate spur engraved 'C.V.' and '26', radiused side-plate, iron ramrod and stirrup swivels fitted with a later buff leather sling
