HENRY ATKIN LTD. 16-BORE BOXLOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 2337, circa 1917, 28in. nitro barrels (loose), the tubes engraved 'HENRY ATKIN LTD. 27 ST. JAMES'S ST. LONDON. S.W.1.', the rib engraved with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech-end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, stepped treble-grip action, automatic safety with inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border engraving, retaining very slight traces of colour-hardening and finish, 15in. figured stock including 7/8in. wooden extension, triggers swept for the left hand, weight 6lb., with a leather barrel guard
