circa 1854 and being a licenced copy of the Adams, with octagonal 6 1/2in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to the rear of the solid top-strap, borderline and scroll engraved frame, double action only mechanism with spur-less hammer, Kerr patent rammer and chequered walnut one-piece grip, in its continental market case lined and compartmented in the continental manner in red velvet (some fading and loose blocking) and complete with a full suite of accessories including mould, flask, loading rod, nipple-key, turn-screw and oil bottle
