circa 1875, with ovate 4in. barrel, applied nickel crescent fore-sight, the left side of barrel throat engraved with a large 'Q.G.' below a broad arrow, solid frame with spring bar cylinder release, the right side of frame at front marked 'WEBLEY'S No.3 .442 C.F.' around 'R.I.C.', plain six-shot cylinder with rear locking notches, double action mechanism, chequered walnut one-piece grip with ejector-rod stored in the heel and guarded trigger, strong traces of finish
