circa 1875, with blued 3in. octagonal barrel, engraved band at muzzle, applied blade fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, borderline engraved blued solid frame, plain cylinder, swing-out 'long pear-shaped' ejector-rod, semi saw-handled walnut grip, guarded trigger and domed iron butt-cap, strong amount of faded finish remaining and together with an oak storage case, the tray relined and compartmented in blue baize and including a bone handled cleaning rod, a turn-screw and a glass oil bottle
