circa 1993, 28in. nitro barrels with tapered ventilated matt top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 and full choke, fore-end wood with side vents, hold-open toplever, manual safety, decorative sideplates with gold pin cocking-indicators, single trigger with triggerplate mounted selector switch, bold Germanic scroll engraving, the sideplates carved with game scenes of fox and pheasant, hound and fowl, old silver finish, 14 5/8in. figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, pistolgrip-cap and sling swivels, Merkel trade marked buttplate, weight 7lb. 7oz.
