circa 1874, with two-stage 21 3/4in. barrel marked 'HENRY'S PATENT RIFLING' (partially obscured by the barrel-band), block and blade fore-sight, small elevating ladder rear-sight, plain slab-sided receiver, the left side marked 'WESTLEY RICHARD'S PATENT 1873', the right side with swinging safe, hammerless action operated via and underlever below the trigger guard, walnut straight hand butt-stock, plain short walnut fore-end and iron furniture, slight traces of finish and colour
