JAMES'S, LONDON.' (refreshed), and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech-end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action, removable striker discs, intercepting sears, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, acanthus scroll engraving, brushed and reblued finish overall, 14 1/2in. figured stock including leather covered recoil pad, weight 6lb. 7oz., in a brass-cornered leather guncase, the lid exterior embossed 'C. VESEY. 18TH HUSSARS'
