circa 1865, with rebrowned 35 1/4in. barrel, raised concave sighting rib with bead fore-sight and corresponding moulding to the engraved elongated top-tang, snail with flash-guard, border and scroll engraved back-action lock signed 'SANDERSON' along the top-edge and with en-suite hammer, chequered walnut straight-hand half-stock with iron furniture (split along underside of fore-end), replaced contrasting wood fore-end tip and probable replacement heavy duty ramrod
