WINNER OF THE LONDON FIELD TRIALS 1873' (refreshed) and with 'PATENT TREBEL WEDGE FAST NO. 3081' (sic), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, treble-grip action incorporating Greener patent cross-bolt, patent no. 3084 of 19th September 1873, carved percussion fences, sculpted toplever, rebounding sidelocks with ornate hammers, fine acanthus scroll engraving, 14 5/8in. highly-figured stock with belemnoid drop points and horn buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release and horn finial, chequering refreshed, weight 6lb. 8oz., in a brass-cornered leather case
