LONDON.' and gold-inlaid '1' at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and full choke, the fences finely carved in high relief with oak leaves on a finely matted background, toplever gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine feathered border engraving, retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening, 14 7/8in. stock including 7/8in. recoil pad, weight 6lb. 7oz., in a modern leather case
