ARMY & NAVY 12-BORE SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 18514, circa 1898, 30in. sleeved nitro barrels, the rib engraved 'ARMY & NAVY C.S.L.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action with carved stylised leaf fences, removable striker discs, automatic safety with blue enamelled 'SAFE' detail, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 7/8in. figured stock including 1in. ebonite extension, weight 7lb. 2oz., in a brass-cornered leather case with Chas. Lancaster trade and instruction labels

Other Notes: The vendor has kindly informed us that the gun was serviced in 2016 by F.J. Wiseman, including a strip and clean, reblacked barrels and sleeve joints improved, furniture polished and reblued, stock and fore-end renovated and rechequered and the stock extension fitted
