A CASED 80-BORE PERCUSSION WEBLEY PATENT WEDGE-FRAME REVOLVER, no visible serial number,
circa 1860, with blued 4 3/8in. unsigned octagonal barrel, borderline engraved muzzle and top-strap, bead fore-sight, standing notch to the top of standing breech, plain colour hardened five-shot cylinder with engraved borderline to leading edge, borderline engraved two-piece frame (finish faded and lost), double action mechanism with spurred hammer and Kerr side rammer, chequered walnut grips, much apparently original blued finish remaining except where noted, together with a period walnut case with burr veneered lid, lined and compartmented in blue baize and with a selection of period accessories
