A .310 (CADET) BSA 'COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA' MARTINI-ACTION TRAINING RIFLE serial no. 24420, in a later box,
circa 1914, with 25in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, micro adjustable rear-sight, the top of barrel stamped 'MADE BY THE BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO. LTD.', silhouette of a kangaroo stamped to the nocksform, plain receiver signed by the makers on the left hand side and marked 'COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA.' and 'VIC' over '3469' on the right, Martini-style under-lever action, plain walnut butt-stock with iron heel-plate, the original stamped roundel to the right side of butt now inlet with an ERVII coin, full-length fore-end and swivels fitted with a webbing sling, contained within a thin canvas bag and housed in a grey-painted wood box
