circa 1898, 28in. nitro reproved barrels, rib inscription worn, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, wall thicknesses at 20-, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, best fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the underside with 'IMPERIAL EJECTOR', retaining very slight traces of colour-hardening, 14 7/8in. stock including wooden buttplate, fore-end missing insert repair to leading left edge, weight 6lb. 8oz.
