W.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, wall thicknesses at 18 and 15+, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, the action, lockplates and furniture finely engraved with scrolling acanthus and floral bouquets, the beading with ornate border engraving, the lockplates and underside with the makers name in curved cartouches, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/8in. well-figured stock, weight 6lb. 5oz., in a brass-cornered leather case
