LONDON.' and 'WINNERS OF ALL THE 'FIELD' RIFLE TRIALS .250 SEMI SMOOTH BORE', slender hammerless actions with removable striker discs, inverted teardrop fences, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, non-selective ejectors, bold acanthus scroll engraving, the makers name to the sides in scrolling banners, retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 13in. figured semi-pistolgrip stocks with finely carved cheekpieces, Hackett type snap fore-ends with horn finials, weight 4lb. 3oz., in their fitted brass-cornered oak and leather case with 'By Special Appointment to H.R.H.
