* A SCARCE .455 (ELEY) SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, SIGNED COLT, MODEL 'NEW SERVICE SHOOTING MASTER TARGET', serial no. 13680, for 1905, with round 7 1/2in. barrel signed 'COLT'S PATENT FIRE ARMS MANUFACTURING CO HARTFORD CT USA PAT AUG 5 1884 JUNE 5 1900', marked 'NEW SERVICE and '455 ELEY' on the left of barrel, block and blade fore-sight, drift adjustable notch rear-sight to rear of the flat top-strap, fluted swing-out cylinder, plain frame marked 'COLT'S NEW SERVICE' in a circle with the Colt trademark to the left hand side, chequered front and back-straps (grips missing), chequered trigger-blade and good traces of blued finish throughout with some mild bruising to metal (tip of ejector rod missing, firing pin bush absent)
