wartime production with 6 5/8in. brushed bright stiletto blade etched with the Wilkinson Sword trademark in a panel at forte, the reverse etched with a similar panel stating 'THE F-S FIGHTING KNIFE', blued oval straight cross-guard, lightly chequered blacked copper alloy hilt swelling towards the forwards section and fitted with a bun nut pommel, some rubbing to finish on high spots and complete with its leather sleeve scabbard with blacked blunt-nose drag and elastic retainer (elastic perished and torn)
